What Do I need to know for Summer Camp 2025? FAQs

What Do I Need to Bring?

Each Camper will need:

1. A lunch

2. Sunscreen/ Bug Spray

3. Swimsuit (for swim days)

4. An extra change of clothes (if needed)

5 A Water Bottle

6. A Backpack to hold items

Remember that we are often outside and off campus so comfortable clothing and shoes are a must.  Camp is all about getting dirty, having fun and making friends!

Please DO NOT bring:

1. Electronics

2. Cell phones

3. Expensive items that can be lost or broken

RAIN is not responsible for these items.

If your child needs a phone to call anyone during the day they may use ours!

Thank you for respecting this rule as we strive to create an environment that provides a technology break so that our students can socialize with each other and not with screens.

Will There be a "Meet and Greet" Before Camp?

Yes! We will have an ice cream social from 2-4 on Saturday June 7th. RSVP Below

I want to attend the Ice Cream Social

Where are you located?

We will be having camp at our new location within Westminster Presbyterian Church. Our camp address is 4103 Monument Ave. The parking lot is behind the church off of Malvern Ave.

Do I need to sign up for the whole summer?

No, you can but we run in weekly sessions see the calendar below.

Why are there no field trips on Mondays?

We like to start each week with a day at camp to go over rules, establish routines and make sure that everyone is cohesive as a group before we go out into the community. This is also our day for reviewing social skills, cooking and doing other fun projects. .

What do you mean a field trip can change?

All field trips are tentative because no matter how hard we try sometimes things happen. For example we cannot go swimming during a thunderstorm. If there is a change we will let you know as soon as possible as not to disrupt schedules. We really do try our best to keep on schedule everyday.

What ages do you accept?

We are ages 13 + this means that our minimum age is 13 and we go into adulthood (20+) We set up individualized plans for each of our students so if you have a question please ask.

How much is the cost of a week of summer camp? Do you do drop in days?

Weekly cost is $375 per week except the week of July 4th which is reduced (due to it being only four days). We do not do drop ins or partial weeks. The reason for this is because we have limited transportation space per week and need to plan accordingly. If your student would like to attend them must pay for the whole week. Thank you for understanding.
